New KLUG Website!

Welcome to the new KLUG Website!

Well, it probably doesn’t look too different yet, and there are a few pieces that are missing still. Over the next month or so I’ll be adding in the photo galleries, blog content, a new events section, and some other new features. Please stay tuned! And if you’re a KLUG member, don’t hesitate to let me know if there’s anything that you’d like to see here!

Review – Adventure Time (Lego Ideas 21308)

Review by Yukie Kato

You could probably make some of the characters missing here with parts you have. You might not have quite enough parts though, so it’s nice to have everything together in one place, making it great for beginners, both adults and children. There are also quite a few parts that only come with this set, making it a must-have for Lego collectors as well.

This is the back of the box.

The box itself is cute, with a fun cartoon design. The boxes for the Lego Ideas series are well made, so instead of throwing it away you can use it to store small things, or just for decoration.

The instruction manual has the same cover. Inside you will find the steps to complete the model, an introduction to the designer and a parts list.

Character Introductions

Finn, Part Count: 46, Although there aren’t many parts, Jake’s features are captured well, and the joints let you arrange him into a variety of poses.

Jake, Part Count: 33, Just the right size, and with a great face print piece.

BMO, Part Count: 30, With hot dogs for arms, the final model is compact.

Gunter, Part Count: 29, The way the wings and feet are done makes for a cute penguin model. It looks like a number of expressions are possible if you’ve got other eye parts on hand.

Ice King, Part Count: 94, Although there are quite a few parts here, this is a simple and fun design to put together. The Ice King also has movable joints, so you can pose him various ways.

Marceline, Part Count: 99, She looks a bit different, but it’s a solidly designed model. The hair looks cute once it’s put together, and her instrument gives this one a nice boost.

Princess Bubblegum, Part Count: 73, This female character is simple enough for kids to put together. This one has joints too, so you can move her around to play, or just for decoration.

Lady Rainicorn, Part Count: 96, She really looks like a dragon that wiggles about in the sky. This nice, colorful design makes good use of its parts.

After you build these 8 popular Adventure Time characters out of Lego(R) blocks, you’ll be able to reproduce the world of Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time in your own home. Please give this set a try!

This set is available country-wide at Lego Stores, Click Brick, and online. Total Part Count: 496 pieces.
